This is Alyce and she was an ARCie!
If it wasn’t for ARC, I wouldn’t have won The Committee’s High Achievement Award for Vocational Training Excellence at the Central & Northern Sydney Regional Training Awards. After finishing school and living in Germany for a year, I considered uni and some private colleges but ultimately a traineeship with ARC has been the best path for me and I would definitely recommend it.
The great thing about studying and working at the same time is implementing what I am learning straight into the job. I’m quite a visual learner so the hands-on learning works really well for me.
One of the greatest things has been the company’s ability to take me on board and not expect too much of me. Having other ARCies here is great, they’ve been so supportive and I’m gradually being given more responsibility in my role.
This is Louise and she is a Host Employer
The great thing about ARCies is that they’re fresh into the workforce and haven’t had a chance to develop bad habits. They come into the office environment with an open mind and learn about our business with enthusiasm and determination. I was an ARCie myself in 2011 and now as a host employer I receive a lot of support from ARC.
The candidates we receive from ARC are the perfect fit for our company, the consultants take the time to learn about our business and take steps to ensure the ARCies will really thrive in our office environment. Around 10% of our Sydney office are current or former ARCies and we plan to use ARC for recruitment in the future.
The support I have received from ARC has been the most valuable aspect of the program. The account managers know our business, how we work, visit us on site quite often and are always available.
